GRANTS & GIVING


Bear's Paws will consider application from individual dog owners who need financial assistance paying for quality of life treatments such as but not limited to: surgeries, cold laser treatments, prescription medication, massage therapy, and/ or physical therapy.  

Bear’s Paws is currently raising funds. The first application review is planned for July 2019.

There is no associated cost for submission of the application. 

Dog owners who's family income is less than $200,000 annually (collective income from all family members), and are faced with the decision of finding funds to pay for life saving & quality of life treatments for their dogs may be eligible for Bear's Paws grant.  

Grants will be awarded on a quarterly basis pursuant to available funds at the time.

Grant recipients are not required to use the services of any particular veterinary specialist or organization. Grant fund will be paid directly to a service provider, not to the dog owner, as an upfront flat fee for scheduled and agreed upon procedures.

Any grant funds awarded for coverage of pharmaceutical treatment will be provided in a form of reimbursement to the submitted receipt to the foundation. These funds will be directly reimbursed to the dog owners based on the sufficient receipt submission within approved grant purpose and amount.
